There are many things to consider for graphic designers when designing anything for their clients. but, today I want to talk about the 5 most important things that they should consider and it will help them to create a professional design.

1) Professional Software:

The first and most important thing for graphic designers is to use professional software for creating designs and when I say professional software it means that they have to use particular software for particular tasks. For example, if someone wants to edit some photos they can use Photoshop, if they want to create logos or any kind of marketing materials then they can use Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Canva. It is also the same in video editing and the software they can use is Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro, Cap Cut, and Canva as well. The most important thing is they should have to download from a genuine website like downloading any Adobe software from Adobe’s website.

2) Understanding the client’s needs:

When we talk about clients the most important thing is to understand what they are looking for, let’s take an example of a client who contacted you for logo design. So to that client what would be your questions to understand their needs? Maybe you can ask them what your brand name is? or what would be your color preference. but you can also ask other questions to understand their needs better like what type of logo you are looking for. Do you want a text-based logo, you want an icon-based logo or are you looking for a combination of both? You can also ask them if you have anything in your mind. Because sometimes they want something that they have thought of or they have seen something and they want a similar kind of it. By asking such questions you get to know about clients’ tastes and what they are looking for and this will give you a better idea to design a logo for them trust me it helps when you create a logo and send it to them there are more chances that they like a logo or they just need some changes in terms of color or fonts.

3) Color Palette:

So after getting an idea from the client in terms of what they are looking for in their logo the most important thing is to decide on a color palette because after some time it will represent your brand color and the audience will easily recognize your brand with your brand color. There are lots of tools available for a selection of color palettes and from that, you easily get the idea of colors that you want to use like Coolors or Adobe Color. Trust me these tools are amazing and make your job very easy to choose the color for the brand. After choosing the color palette make sure that you use the same colors for branding and other marketing materials and in social media as well so it will be in theme colors and also strengthen your brand presence towards the audience and they can easily recognise your brand from your theme colors.

4) Be Innovative:

How do you differentiate from the others in the industry? This is a very interesting question in terms of the graphic designing industry. Because right now there are lots of tools available in which you just have to put your brand’s name, industry, logo type and colors you would like to have in your logo and it will give you lots of options according to your inputs from which you can select and sometimes you can customize it as well for free. But the only thing is it’s not a unique or creative like the graphic designer could create from their creativity and they can easily communicate with the client so thew exactly know what client is looking for and it is also beneficial for client as they can easily do registration or trademark of their brand’s logo as its made according to their interest and its unique as well. So, as I covered in the First point, just use the professional software and apply your creativity.

5) Know how to use AI software/tools

This is the most important and discussed topic right now and everyone in the specific industry wants to know more about it and how they will implement AI in their day to day tasks. It makes your work easy and efficient as well. But you definitely need to put proper prompts and you also need to edit it by yourself.
